Bare Bison

Looking to the land for inspiration.

Bison meat is unlike beef or poultry, and Bare Bison needed an identity that spoke to those differences.

The Inspiration
The main inspiration for the logo came from cave paintings. Rough, hand-drawn edges are used to give nod to the prehistoric past of the animal. The bold terracotta orange seeks attention, not unlike the animal itself.

The Pattern
There are many health benefits of the bison product that needed to be communicated in this identity. The pattern is an element of the identity that communicates the benefits of the product in a visually interesting way.
